Harvard tells its graduate students to go on food stamps

Harvard University, with its bajillion-dollar endowment (the largest of any university in the world), is holding an event to help its graduate students sign up for government assistance programs instead of, you know, paying them more. In this way, Harvard is very reminiscent of companies like Walmart and McDonald’s, which are notorious for shifting the cost of sustaining their employees to the state in order to maximize their profits.
