John Jay College has announced that their Communications and Theater Department will close at the end of the spring 2023 semester. This will mean a tremendous loss of educational opportunity for students and the loss of employment for many part-time instructors. Let’s rally together and stop JJ’s Theater Department from becoming the latest casualty in the war of attrition being waged against CUNY in the form of deepening State and City budget cuts.
