The Graduate Center chapter of the Professional Staff Congress (PSC)We will discuss new strategies for engaging members in one-on-one conversations. Topics to include: Organizing departmental meetings Coordinating rounds to various departments Reaching out to APOs The formation of a tuition remission working group (and others)

Members attending will be trained on the PSC/CUNY contract and having one-on-one conversations with colleagues. The training will take place in the History lounge's dissertation room. Contact Maya of the Internal Organizing Committee if you plan on attending.
There will be a debate between slate representatives from the CUNY Struggle and New Caucus and Fusion Independents running in our chapter elections. It will be on the 9th Floor of the GC, room 9207. More details to come!

PSC members will testifying at the CUNY Board of Trustees Hearing on Wednesday, April 19, at 5:00 p.m. The hearing, which will take place at the Borough Hall in Queens, is an opportunity to support the PSC campaigns to raise adjunct salaries to $7,000 per course and reduce the faculty teaching load.
