The Professional Staff Congress – City University of New York (PSC-CUNY) Research Award Program will continue with a 48th round this academic year.  We urge all full-time central faculty and HEOs to consider supporting their scholarship, research and graduate students through this award program.

The program website provides you with full information and the proposal submission site is now ready to accept grant applications.  Please note the GC internal deadline for submissions: Thursday, December 1, 2016, 5:00 PM EST.  If you are planning to submit a proposal, please email me [Adrienne Klein: [email protected]] now with a note of your intent.

This award program can provide funds to support research (e.g. travel and conference participation) and to supplement the funds the Graduate Center has for the support of graduate students.

The program has three award levels:

• Traditional A Awards: up to $3,500
• Traditional B Awards: $3,600 to $6,000
• Enhanced Awards: $6,500 to $12,000

The funding period for all awards begins on July 1, 2017.

Eligible GC applicants:

• full-time faculty whose appointment is at the Graduate Center.  All other faculty should turn to the Grants Office at their home institution with any questions.
• full-time GC staff in the HEO series titles
