Are you an international student? Have you been underpaid, paid late or not paid at all? Have you had problems with your NYSHIP? Have you had difficulties registering? Chances are that you answered yes to one of these questions. Since COVID, CUNY’s treatment of international students has become even worse than it was beforehand (which was already abysmal). Many of us are left in fragile, precarious situations by the indifference of admin; others have had to return to their home country or accept diminished pay packages.

Thursday, December 15, international students will be meeting to discuss these issues and what we can do to change it. We (the PSC and DGSC) will give advice on how to fill out forms for tax and healthcare–bring your laptops!–while also talking about more militant strategies to force change.
