This event is aimed at airing stories and sharing testimonies about gender and/or sexual at CUNY.

Dirty Laundry in The Commons, March 5th through March 10th. Airing our testimonies and sharing stories. A collective exercise of taking care of the other. Have you experienced gender or sexual violence at CUNY or by a person associated with CUNY? Did Title nine let you down? In a patriarchal world, institutions meant to protect us systematically fail to do so. Latinx feminists came up with the idea of clotheslines as an autonomous platform to share testimonies. By occupying the public sphere, women use clotheslines to rebel against the domestic function they were assigned to. Instead of clothes, we invite you to hang up your experience in CUNY. Please share only your story and omit any names.
