The Strike Committee is a standing committee of the Graduate Center Chapter composed of the elected chapter leadership and rand-and-file members. This group works to mobilize members and ensure that the chapter is strike-ready.

The Strike Committee was formed in September 2019, through a resolution brought to the chapter by rank-and-file members who demanded a strike authorization campaign during the last contract negotiation:

Convenes a strike committee as a standing committee of the chapter, composed of the elected chapter leadership and rank-and-file PSC members from all job titles and chaired by someone not in the chapter Executive Committee, to lead this campaign at the Graduate Center and report on its progress at chapter meetings.
