On Monday, LA public school teachers began a three-day strike as contract negotiations remain at an impasse. The 30,000 teachers, aides, bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria workers, and other staff are demanding higher wages and better working conditions. Solidarity to our comrades on the West Coast. Hopefully some of their energy makes its way to us.
