Part-time and non-tenure track full-time faculty at Fordham voted to authorize a strike if they do not reach a tentative agreement with the University by January 30th. Yet another university is demonstrating the power that comes from collective action. Over the last few months, University of California and New School workers won serious victories by striking, and NYU adjuncts forced concessions from the administration just by threatening to strike. What are we waiting for, CUNY?
